Stature PR is looking for a charismatic and go-getting PR Assistant to join our award-winning consumer team within the London office. You will support the consumer team on a wide variety of campaigns for high-profile clients in beauty, entertainment, interiors, technology, health and wellbeing.

 

What does the role involve? 

Writing press releases
Creating and managing media lists, client activity reports and media monitoring
Selling in news features to national/regional media – generating media coverage
Participating in brainstorms and planning meetings
Assisting with the organisation and execution of client/company events, shoots, junkets and PR activities
Creating news hooks and feature opportunities
Conducting research to support projects and new business development
Preparing briefings, presentations and reports
Booking and liaising with suppliers
Arranging couriers, travel and accommodation
General office administrative duties

What is required? 

Experience in the consumer PR industry (1 year of experience preferred)
Understanding of PR and communications practice
Outstanding organisational skills including working with deadlines and the ability to prioritise
Excellent attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability
Ability to be proactive and use initiative
Excellent writing skills for a variety of platforms and audiences, with outstanding spelling and grammar
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers and others at all levels
Discretion and trustworthiness along with tact and diplomacy
Hard working and self-motivated
Keen interest in following news agenda and industry trends

Salary

£18,000.00 to £20,000.00 per year + commission on new business introductions
